Welcome to My Life

I think I should explain how I came to be in the Online Travel Business. I was laying at home reading a novel, when my best Friend, Sandy , called and said guess what I just got us into. She explained what it was and why she wanted to do it. She was excited and passionate about it. I was thinking, What? have she got us into and what will it take and I don't know anything about selling travel. I had no idea about starting my own business. We went to a training meeting and it all seemed so simple. To make a profit in this network marketing business all we had was to bring 5 people into the company. We were excited about it, so we got started decided on Sandoggy Travel, and created our LLC. We started out with telling every one about our company. No one seemed interested and I didn't understand why everyone could not see what a great opportunity. Usually I am turned off by marketing companies but I felt so good about this Company YTB, (I still do), and I couldn't sell it.
I have gone to all the training and conferences and conventions that was offered, I have traveled more this year than I have ever traveled ever before and I have had so much fun. I have gone to Orlando, Florida, on a Caribbean cruise, St. Louis, Las Vegas, Palm Springs.
We have now had our website www.sandoggytravel.com for 1 year now and although We are not in our power team, the education I have received has been invaluable to me. I have met some incredible people from all areas of the United States. It has given me opportunities that would have never crossed my way. Does your business help you in that way?
I have decided that I like the classes, I like being a part of a company that has integrity and is constantly growing. This year has been incredible for helping us expand our businesses. We have been given fantastic opportunities to travel as travel agents. One great thing is We have the opportunity to offer on our web site a retail mall (Ever heard of Aisle 19?) with over 610 stores. The Internet is wonderful isn't it. So although I have not been able to build a downline as we have wanted to do, I do not give up nor am I undaunted in my quest to do so. Making money off my website in commissions is so awesome and fun. If you do not have access to Aisle 19, it is by invitation only, Let me know and we will get you hooked up. It's free to join and you get cash back on all your purchases, so you can shop cheaper by staying at home.
Sandoggy Travel has been my portal of growth and I invite you to tell me about your avenue of growth or would you like to see what intrigues me, go to the link of www.sandoggytravel.info and watch the 10 minute video. Have a great week, and I will tell you more opportunities that have come my way.

Alaska Cruises

I just got a e-mail from Princess Cruise lines. They are now offering 2 for the price of 1. That is a great sale. If you want to go let me know or get reservations on www.sandoggytravel.com. I recommend that we do it as soon as possible. Let's go have fun together.

Narragansett, RI

Have you ever wanted to go to Narragansett, RI? I do. It's on my list of places of I really want to go. What's in Narragansett, RI? Why would you ever want to go there? Well, let me tell you. I am a great fan of movies and the one I have watched several times just because of the scenery, the feel of the places they are at and of course, it is a real cute movie. I love the story that is presented in the movie "Dan In Real Life". If you have not seen it, I highly recommend that you do. One afternoon, I suggest that you rent it and sit and watch it. I am captured by the scenes when they go to Narragansett, to the rustic book store and cafe. To the bowling alley, to the lighthouse out on the beach. It is so lovely to see.
It rains alot in the movie and the setting is set in the family vacation home where a whole family gets together and bonds together. The home is located on the water, which is a dream of mine. All through the movie the weather is dreary, but it only adds to the charm of the place. It Charmed me so much that I researched where the movie was filmed and then I researched the small resort town of Narragansett, RI. It has several beaches and inlets. The beaches and harbors were used by the British in the 1600's and then by the farmers to load their goods to export to Europe.
I have read and visited the place on line to see what it has to offer. They depend on the tourist to come and see their little town and shops. They rent cabins on the beach, boat rentals and fishing. Not only that but they also have commercial fishermen based there. Which means that the Seafood Resturants are one of the highest rated in the country. You know me where there is good seafood I am there.
I love all that I have read about the place and what I have seen of it. I plan to see more. I want to go walk on the beach and take my own pictures of the lighthouse. Traveling is in and I love doing it. 2009 is supposed to be the best year yet for traveling. www.SandoggyTravel.com is a great place to plan your trip to Narragansett, RI or anywhere you want to go. As you travel I want to tell you about a way to travel in comfort whether you are traveling a train, plane or automobile. It is called the cozytraveler .www.cozytraveler.com Just click on the link or copy and paste link name in your browser line. I have one and have used it on my trip to Alabama and it was great. I stayed warm on the plane when I always freeze on flights. I have it with my suitcases so I don't ever forget it. They are affordable and worth your time to see about it. Is there a place you want to go? Write and tell me a place so I can research it and dream about it too.

New Adventures Coming in the New Year 2009

I am excited for the Year 2009, a new year for me and Sandoggy Travel. It has been a year of lots of trial and error. Mostly errors but I have learned a tremendous amount. I have enjoyed learning and meeting all the wonderful people that I have gotten to know in my business. My Team Leaders at YTB is Eloise Hurley and Zandra Perkins. I love these ladies. I will get back to them in another posting.

This year I have so many things I am going to learn about cruises and how to book cruises. In February, Doug and I are going on Princess Cruise line to the Mexican Riveria, While we are at sea I will be in class with Marc Mancini, the ultimate cruise master, Then we will go to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Porta Viarta. I am excited. I will post pictures when we get back.

In March, I will go and visit my Mom in Decatur, AL. I will be working my site and promoting it while I am there. This is where I plug my site www.sandoggytravel.com. It is a great site with enhanced features. Mom is not doing so well, and I love to go and spoil her with attention and all sorts of surprises.

In April, I will go to Fort Lauderdale, Fl for more classes and qualifing for my CLIA card. I get to inspect 4 different cruise ships while they ply me with all sorts of good food and ammenities from the ships. It is a hard life but someone has to do it. I will post some pictures for that also. I probably won't be in any of the pictures since I will be the one taking the pictures. I will be there a week but will be in classes the whole time.

I am looking forward to going to on a cruise to Alaska in September. So come and go along with me and we will have a ball.

Sugar Bowl

Well, I have to start my blog, tonight ,with a commentary about last nights Sugar bowl game, The one between the good ole boys of Alabama and the Utah running Utes. I was born and raised in Alabama, but I have lived most of my adult life here in the Salt Lake Valley. I have never been a Crimson Tide fan, it has been the War Eagles(Auburn) all the way. I graduated from BYU and I have a son who graduated with a Masters degree from Utah. I have, although, respected Alabama for their constant excellence in their football program. This past couple of weeks when we found out that Utah would play Alabama, people were curious of how I felt about it. You know, where was I leaning. Truthfully, I hoped that Utah could beat the socks off of the Tide, but I didn't think it would happen. I thought Bama would spank Utah.
Before the game, the media made a point of letting us know that there was not one player on the Utah team that Alabama would even consider recruiting. It was sad that the commentators was so unprepared for Utah to win that they had nothing to bring out about the excellence of the Utah program.
Much to my surprise, and everyone else's, Utah came out motivated to the maximum. Their momentum never stopped. I was so excited as I watched and the more I watched the more excited I got. Utah showed what a force they were to be reckoned with. I actually felt sorry for the Alabama team and fans. As the camera fanned on their faces, It was a picture of "What just hit us?" Yes, most of the Ute team are LDS and are returned missionaries. Yep, they whooped ass, I mean butt. It was sweet. Now those of you that are Bama fans. I am sorry that it was your team that had to be whooped upon to prove that the football in Utah is serious. I hope that we can still be friends. But it was fun to watch, at least it was at my house.

YTB Convention

We just got back from an awesome convention, in St Louis, MO!  It was our first time to go and we were not disappointed.  People all around us was excited about the company that we were excited about.   I think that YTB is a great way to secure our future and to have a ton of fun as we do so.
